Chiesa Del Carmine olive oil is a blend of our Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Dolce Agogia olives. The colour is a beautiful fresh green. The aroma is rich and fruity. The taste is spicy and peppery, with just a hint of walnut. The olives were picked in the last week of October and pressed within 24 hours to avoid any fermentation or oxidation. The result is a clean oil with very low acidity. Ideal for fresh bread, salad or warm bruschetta with tomato and basil. It is far too good to cook with.
