EVENTS AT VINERIA DEL CARMINE

Our award-winning winery is located is one of Umbria’s most beautiful valleys, surrounded by woodland, vineyards and rolling countryside. The sixteenth century farm buildings have been lovingly restored into tastings rooms, a winery, an underground vaulted barrel room, a state–of –the–art DeManincor kitchen and beautiful gardens. For a country-style event or wedding with a fresh, natural touch, Vineria del Carmine is the perfect venue for you.

ABOUT US

Our passion is great wine, food and hospitality. Since we first opened our Vineria doors in 2017 , our goal has been to try to bring together all the elements necessary to create a memorable experience for our guests. A celebration of the incredible produce from Umbria, the knowledge, skill and passion of our chefs, waiting staff and sommeliers, a selection of wines that showcase the best of what our valley can produce and a relaxed ambience with views over our vineyards and across the breathtakingly beautiful valley of Chiesa del Carmine.

THE VENUE

Overlooking a vineyard, our Vineria is a lovingly restored 16th century farmhouse and barn which have been converted with great sensitivity and a strong focus on sustainability and original materials. The property is nestled within our organic estate, a short walk from where Hannibal once camped with his elephants and army and now seamlessly merges into the surrounding landscape.

We can accommodate up to 50 guests at Vineria del Carmine in our tasting rooms. For those looking to make the most of our outdoor space, our Terrace is the perfect location for long tables and al fresco dining in the Umbrian sunshine or moonlight. Visitors are encouraged to explore and admire the kitchen garden and beautiful surroundings. For those looking to make a day of it, self-guided walking maps of the valley are provided for those looking to enjoy a ‘passeggiata’ amongst the vines.

We also organise weddings at Vineria del Carmine.
