Chiesa Del Carmine – The vineyard with the church from the 13th century

The Chiesa del Carmine vineyard has a church from the 13th century. The vineyard is located in the heart of the Umbria region with the town of Perugia which is close to the border with Tuscany. This was an abandoned farm before the owners bought the farm and the church in 2009. Everything on the farm has slowly been renovated and become a beautiful vineyard. In addition, hard work and organic farming have made the vineyards some of Italy’s best grapes. Here there is a large grove of olive trees, forest with truffles, organic farms and 5.7 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards include grapes such as Trebbiano Spoletino, Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
