Frasassi Caves

The caves are open all year round and a visit can last approx. one hour. The caves consist of an immense cavern and a series of large chambers, tunnels, wells and labyrinths that snake for 13 km.  Stalactites formed over thousands of years have entwined themselves to create stunning reflections on the surface of the water, and take on bizarre shapes.
